Dave Quinn
Dave Quinn Cert PFS Cert CII (MP) - Principal

Dave Quinn is head of the family and the business.

Although his main profession is as an Independent Financial Advisor he can often be found organising the day to day running of the business.

Dave has been chairman of RAMSAK since 2005.

Mary Quinn
Mary Quinn

Mother of the family Mary is also the one working hard in the office dealing with the paperwork.

She is competent with dealing with business affairs and works hard filling in the gaps behinds the scenes.
Phil Quinn

Phil is the eldest son of the family.  He went straight into work on the farm after leaving school at 16 gaining several qualifications while he worked. 

Through government back schemes including Lantra, Mid Kent Training, the National Proficiency Tests Council and the NRoSO, here are just some of the qualifications Phil has obtained


    • Tractor Driving
    • Forklift Driving
    • Drilling
    • PA1 - Competence in a safe use of Pesticides
    • PA2 - Field Crop Spraying
    • Knapsack Spraying
    • Participated on a range of courses including Crop Protection Management Plans, Soil Analysis & Fertiliser Selection & Cost Effective Cultivations
    • Emergency First Aid
    • Ploughing
    • A member of the National Register of Sprayer Operators
    • Transport manager status (CPS) in national haulage - HGV (Class 1 & 2)

Stewart left school at 18 to join the family farm.

  • QFS are known supporters of the local Young Farmers Clubs in Kent.

  • Ed Lovejoy, chairman of Ashford YFC, is part of the QFS team.
Quinn Farm Services Annual Party
Once a year QFS hosts an annual party at the farm in Smarden.
The event has been slowly growing and is now into its 8th year with average attendance of 500 people every year.
